FAQ
Q: Does the keyboard come with any tenting or wrist support?
A: Currently tenting is not included but such option will be available in the future. You can buy a nice tenting kit on Amazon. If you're not using tenting you probably won't need a wrist support because the keyboard has a very low profile.
Q: I'm having problems connecting the keyboard via Bluetooth.
A: If you're connecting the keyboard to your PC make sure that it has WiFi antenna attached. You can also try switching to an empty Bluetooth profile by pressing PgDn + 1/2/3/4/5. Or erasing the currently selected profile PgDn + ESC.
Q: What are the Bluetooth profiles needed for?
A: You can pair the keyboard to up to 5 devices and switch between devices by pressing PgDn + 1/2/3/4/5.
Q: What do I do if the keyboard is not responding?
A: Check if backlight is working by pressing PgDn + 6. If it's not working, most likely one of the halves needs to be charged. If it's working, check the Bluetooth connection.
Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?
A: 110mAh - 1 hour, 600mAh - 2 hours, 2500mAh - 8 hours.
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: 110mAh lasts about 1 week, 600mAh approximately a month, 2500mAh - 3 months. However if you're using RGB the battery will be depleted much sooner.
Q: What are the idle and sleep timeouts?
A: Idle timeout is 2 minutes, it'll disable the backlight. Sleep timeout is 15 minutes.
Q: What kind of switches are you using?
A: Keyboard comes with the 40g linear switches, they aren't silent but pretty close to silent.
Q: Is this keyboard hot-swappable?
A: Yes, you can replace the existing switches with various Kailh Choc v2 low profile switches available on the market.
Q: How many layers does the keyboard have?
A: By default it has 3 layers: base, lower and raise. But you can configure any number of layers you need by using ZMK Studio.
Q: Do I need a cable to use ZMK Studio?
A: If you've installed an app then you don't need a cable, if you're using a web version - you do.
Q: Is keyboard configuration persisted between different computers or do I need to install ZMK Studio on each computer?
A: Configuration is persisted, you can configure it on your personal computer and use it at work without installing ZMK Studio.
Q: Can I install MX switches instead of Choc v2 switches?
A: PCB does support MX sockets, but they aren't installed by default plus the case for such switches needs to be taller. If you need one - send me a message.
Q: How many cables do I need for this keyboard?
A: You only need cables for charging the keyboard, so if you want to charge both halves at the same time you'll need 2 USB-C cables.
Q: What are the switches located near the USB-C ports?
A: Those are battery cutoff/power switches. If they are disabled battery won't charge and keyboard will only work when powered via a cable.
Q: Is the battery indicator in the Bluetooth settings showing the correct charge %?
A: Yes, but it's only showing the charge of the left half.
Q: What is the return policy?
A: You can return the keyboard within 30 days. See our refund policy for details.
